Notable Projects in South Kensington

Over the years, Black & Milk Interior Design has transformed numerous homes in South Kensington. Our portfolio showcases a variety of projects, each reflecting our commitment to quality and detail.

Why is South Kensington so Unique?

Black & Milk carried out complete decoration and lighting works in a prestigious apartment in the heart of Kensington.

Built by renowned architect Rem Koolhaas, the apartment resides parallel to the iconic Design Museum and famous Holland Park, providing 270-degree views of beautiful greenery and the city's landscape.

With a love for art and all things design, the main objective of the design was to provide the client with a sanctuary for the modern family that illustrates their passion for both modern design and practicality.

Exploring key ideas derived from the client's day-to-day life requirements, the families' principles and values were distilled and applied to the interior language and design.

Impressive floor-to-ceiling windows span the living area, providing abundant natural lighting that illuminates the centre-stage bespoke TV joinery designed by Black & Milk.

Our design team meticulously thought through the critical objective of this design. A sound surround system was to be cleverly concealed within the joinery piece without compromising functionality and look and feel.

A sumptuous marble top was installed to decrease vibrations from the subwoofer and enhance the sound throughout the room.

Bespoke slatted panelled doors were then implemented within the design to conceal an impressive 85" TV when not in use.

Other notable points within the apartment include panelling in the hallway to add a layer of grandeur whilst providing a layer of richness for the artwork to be displayed.
